RealSteps is a consortium of independent professionals, educators, agents, and leaders in their industry, each with a unique area of expertise (acting as fiduciaries), but collaborating to enhance each perspective, ideas, and discipline.
Our ability to communicate and understand one another like family is an amazing phenomenon and why we are all successful in our own right. We offer a catalog of independent services.
Mindshift and brainstorming sessions are what we utilize when needing to solve abstract problems or create future projections that incorporate multiple views and various outcome potentials.
The current plan of action for 2024.
- Expanding into schools and school districts to help teachers and staff with retirement and wealth planning needs. This service will be provided through Valuteachers and Nation Life Insurance Company with Mr. Guerra as the acting fiduciary.
- Building online courses that schools can use within the classroom environment that supports real-world integration for not just learning but also achieving. These online courses also looks to include live weekly interactions with the classroom by one of the professionals. Students need an outside element to help the teacher connect the dots sometimes.

For the past 11+ years, I have been in education teaching technology to high schoolers, and trying to make a difference.
Consultant: Tax Specialist and Investment Planner. Prior to the education field, I was in financial services, Series 7 license in 1993, and estate planning, I have continually kept my knowledge current to help individuals plan, invest and pay as little taxes as possible.
I also have Career Counseling knowledge from my 11+ years in public education to guide career paths and identify new ones. I have three decades in business planning, career development, and financial services that aid in decision-making. I challenge myself and other teachers to implement technology in every ecosystem and with each teachable moment. Teachers must know we are trainning students for job that are not even created yet.
Advocate: for youth and a significant supporter in developing a personal growth mindset. I enjoy helping students to become self-advocating in all areas, so that they can be positive, productive citizens. Increasing self-efficacy is the mission of every individual. Teach them good habits from the beginning and they will form a lifetime of achievments.
